Couples Counselling

In couples counselling, a Cambridge Psychology Centre clinician listens to each member of the couple as they discuss their problem areas, as well as observing how they interact with each other. This helps the clinician identify and address the behaviours, patterns and interaction styles that are causing issues. We can then explore concerns related to trust and intimacy in order to help rebuild and strengthen relationships.

Secure Information

Trust is important. Cambridge Psychology Centre treats all information, both personal medical needs and revelations from therapy, with security and sensitivity. No information will be shared with a third party without your informed consent in advance.

Effective & Professional

All our work uses evidence-based psychology care in professional sessions that put the client’s needs first. We help people develop skills and learn the right techniques for their needs.

Personalized Therapy

No relationship is the same. We offer every client a custom-tailored approach that meets the unique treatment needs of every couple.

How Couples Counselling Works

The Cambridge Psychology Centre team of psychologists, psychological associates, and psychotherapists work to help couples overcome what is affecting their relationships. Any clinician that works in this area of counselling is trained to help couples develop healthier relationships and marriages. Once a clinician has listened to each member of the couple, they can work with the couple to come up with evidence-based solutions and strategies that will help them succeed together. We also provide treatment for couples experiencing issues related to front-line jobs, including veterans, active members of the military, healthcare workers, police officers, and correctional officers.
