Trauma

Veterans

Trauma faced in the service of our country’s armed forces can result in a wide range of mental health issues, including PTSD and depression. It is crucial that veterans find access to treatments and programs based on evidence. Cambridge Psychological Centre keeps our process constant with what the best research shows works, helping Canada’s veterans get the support they need.

Secure Information

Cambridge Psychology Centre treats all information, both personal medical needs and revelations from therapy, with security and sensitivity. No information will be shared with a third party without your informed consent in advance.

Effective & Professional

All our work with veterans uses evidence-based psychology care in professional sessions that put the client’s needs first. We help veterans facing the effects of trauma develop skills and learn the right techniques for their needs.

Personalized Therapy

Canada’s armed forces are made up of many people from all walks of life and experiences on the front lines. We offer every veteran a custom-tailored approach that meets the unique treatment needs of everyone who comes to us for help.

Trauma Therapy For Government Agencies

At Cambridge Psychological Centre, our work with veterans includes the assessment and diagnosis of mental disorders and cognitive functioning, the development and evaluation of treatments and programs, the delivery and supervision of treatment, and research. Our process starts with a mental health assessment and diagnosis because not all mental health problems and disorders are the same, so they do not all respond best to the same intervention. The services we provide are effective with a wide range of mental health disorders that result from trauma as a result of service, including depression, anxiety, and substance abuse.
