We work hard to ensure that the services provided at the Cambridge Psychology Centre help as many people in our community as possible. Our team works with organizations so they can learn how to apply psychological principles in their jobs. Proper training can benefit those in occupations like police officers and paramedics, improving how they help others. Education & Training Benefits

Handling a mental health crisis in a successful way means understanding the signals and knowing how best to help. Cambridge Psychology Centre’s Education & Training programs help front-line workers and first responders learn more about dealing with those experiencing psychological trauma that puts themselves, others, and the workers at risk. By knowing the signs, these workers can prevent injuries as a result of mental health crises. They can use these skills to also advance community relations and establish trust between vulnerable people and those doing essential work on their behalf. If you’re a government agency, community organization, or healthcare service, you can trust the Cambridge Psychology Centre to provide the right education and training.

Who We Work With

Cambridge Psychology Centre currently works with several groups and organizations to help educate and train them on many different aspects of mental health. We have been working closely with the Hamilton Police Services and have provided them with a block training series regarding trauma, wellness, risk reduction, mental health injury, communication and bias. We also coached them on providing course presentations of their own. We are also active in the education system, providing school presentations to students and staff regarding loneliness, mental well being and trauma.
