Individual Therapy
In individual therapy, you sit down with a Cambridge Psychology Centre psychologist. This is one of the most popular forms of therapy, and individual therapy may encompass different treatment styles like psychoanalysis and cognitive-behavioural therapy. All individual therapy recommendations are made to meet the specialized needs of all our clients, and we perform them with sensitivity and confidentiality. The techniques we use are chosen based on carefully-considered evidence.
How Individual Therapy Works
The Cambridge Psychology Centre is a team of psychologists, psychological associates, and psychotherapists who are committed to helping people overcome their issues. Individual therapy is an opportunity to explore areas of difficulty, and in your initial session, you are invited to provide information about your background and discuss your issues and difficulties. We then collaborate with you to identify the areas on which you would like to work. We can then explore the recognized issues and areas through proven forms of therapy that will help you work through issues and cope more effectively. Cambridge Psychology Centre also specializes in aiding those who are affected by their front-line job experiences, including veterans and active members of the military, police officers, healthcare workers, paramedics, and correctional officers.
